THE FOUNDERS
of Peace Child International
In 1981, Bernard Benson, David Gordon, Michael and Eirwen Harbottle, David Woollcombe and Rosey Simonds came together and agreed that they should for-ever be identified as the Founders of Peace Child. It was also agreed that Bernard Benson, David Gordon and David Woollcombe should be identified as the Founding Authors of the Peace Child musical. David Woollcombe, Rosey Simonds and Eirwen Harbottle became the Founding Trustees of the UK Registered Charity, Peace Child International, which has a mission to empower young people to create a better future for themselves, initially through creating their own versions of the musical.
