Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a treatment, seminar, workshop or event with Harmony & Balance, or using this website. By making a booking, purchasing a voucher or offer, attending an event, or continuing to use this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms apply to all services provided by Harmony & Balance – Holistic Therapies with Annette Graham (referred to as “Harmony & Balance”, “Annette”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and to your use of this website. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not proceed with a booking and should discontinue use of the website.

These Terms sit alongside, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

You can book treatments, workshops and events with Harmony & Balance either by contacting Annette directly (for example by phone or email) or, where available, through our external booking platform (currently Bookwhen) using the links provided on this website. Some services, particularly group events and products, may only be available to book via the online booking system.

Your booking is only confirmed once it has been accepted by us. For direct bookings, this will usually be when we send you a written confirmation (for example by email or message). For bookings made via Bookwhen or another online system, confirmation will normally be generated automatically once payment or registration has been completed. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion, for example where we consider that a service is not suitable for you or in the event of non-payment.

Details of current prices for treatments, workshops and products are shown on this website or on the relevant booking page. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment for individual treatments is due on or before the day of your appointment, and payment for workshops, events and products is due at the time of booking or purchase. Accepted payment methods may include cash, bank transfer, and card or digital payments processed through our booking platform or payment provider. We reserve the right to change our prices and accepted payment methods from time to time.

From time to time we may offer packages (such as a series of treatments), prepayments, deposits or part-payments for certain services or events. Any such arrangements will be clearly explained at the time of booking and may be subject to additional conditions, including specific cancellation or rescheduling terms. Unless otherwise stated, deposits and prepayments are non-transferable and may be non-refundable if you cancel outside the permitted notice period.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an individual treatment, please give as much notice as possible so that the appointment can be offered to someone else. Unless we agree otherwise, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations. If you cancel with less than the required notice or do not attend your appointment, we may charge up to the full fee for the session or retain any deposit or prepayment paid.

Different cancellation terms may apply for workshops, group sessions and events, particularly where venue hire, materials or minimum numbers are involved. Specific conditions will be set out on the event description or booking page. In general, places are limited and your booking is non-transferable without prior agreement. Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in loss of the fee paid.

Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment or event. If you arrive late for an individual treatment, your session may need to be shortened so as not to affect other clients, and the full fee may still be payable. For group events, late arrival may mean you miss part of the session or are unable to join once the session has begun, particularly where opening practices or safety briefings are required.

On rare occasions we may need to cancel or reschedule a treatment or event, for example due to practitioner illness, unexpected circumstances, venue issues or situations beyond our reasonable control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as we can using the contact details you have provided and will offer to rebook you for another date or, where appropriate, provide a refund of any fees paid for the affected session. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur as a result of such cancellation, such as travel or accommodation.

Harmony & Balance offers holistic, complementary therapies and wellbeing-focused workshops. These services are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis or treatment, and should not be used as a replacement for advice from your doctor, consultant or other qualified healthcare professional.

It is your responsibility to inform Annette, before your session or event, of any relevant health conditions, injuries, allergies, sensitivities, disabilities, pregnancy, recent operations, or other factors that may affect your suitability for a particular treatment or participation in a session. This includes any changes to your health or medication between appointments.

Some conditions may mean that certain treatments are not appropriate, need to be adapted, or require written consent from your GP or specialist before proceeding. Annette reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment or session if she believes it may not be safe, appropriate or in your best interests.

No specific outcomes can be guaranteed. You remain responsible for your own wellbeing, choices and self-care during and after treatments, and workshops. If you have any concerns about your physical or mental health, you should seek guidance from a suitably qualified medical or mental health professional.

Additional terms apply to workshops, group sessions and events delivered by Harmony & Balance. Full details, including dates, times, locations, content and pricing, will be described on the relevant event page or booking platform.

We may set minimum and maximum numbers for group activities. If minimum numbers are not reached, or if circumstances outside our control arise, we may need to modify, postpone or cancel an event. In such cases we will contact you using the details provided at booking and offer an alternative date or, where appropriate, a refund of fees paid for the affected event.

For the comfort and safety of all participants, you agree to follow reasonable instructions given by Annette or any assisting facilitators, and to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards others. We reserve the right to ask anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate to leave, without refund.

Some workshops may involve reflective, emotional or energetic practices. You are responsible for your own participation and self-care and should only engage with what feels right for you. If you have any concerns about your ability to take part, please discuss this with Annette before booking.

From time to time Harmony & Balance may offer gift vouchers, promotional offers, introductory pricing or seasonal packages. Details of any current vouchers or offers, including any specific conditions, will be set out at the point of purchase or promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, gift vouchers are valid only for the person named on the voucher, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers will have an expiry date, after which they may no longer be redeemed. It is your responsibility to book and attend your appointment before the expiry date. Missed appointments or late cancellations using a voucher may result in loss of the voucher value.

Promotional offers are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Where services or products are marked as “Coming Soon”, any information provided is indicative only and may be updated, delayed or withdrawn before launch.
