Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy therapy that is non-invasive and experienced fully clothed, lying comfortably on a treatment couch or seated if that is easier for you. I work with light touch or with her hands just above the body, always checking in around comfort and consent.
Many people describe reiki as deeply relaxing, warm, or soothing. You may notice gentle sensations, emotions softening, or simply a sense of peace and stillness. There is no right or wrong way to experience it.
Clients often choose reiki when they are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, emotionally low, going through change or loss, or simply needing a calmer space to reconnect with themselves. It can be a supportive complement to other forms of care you may already have in place.
Shamanic healing is an ancient, nature-based way of working with energy and awareness. In a session, I may use soft drumming, rattle, voice, or guided visualisation to help you relax and explore what is happening at a deeper level.
You remain fully clothed and are invited to rest, notice, and receive. Some people experience imagery, insights, or a feeling of being more connected to themselves or to something bigger than everyday life. Others simply feel quieter and more centred.
This work is spiritual and symbolic rather than diagnostic or medical. It is not a replacement for professional mental health or medical care, but can sit alongside them as a gentle, supportive practice.
Over time, stress, shock, or difficult experiences can leave us feeling less present, less confident, or somehow not quite ourselves. In shamanic traditions, power retrieval and soul retrieval are ways of working symbolically with this sense of loss, inviting more of your own strength and essence back home.
During these sessions, I may journey on your behalf, using drum or rattle, and share impressions or guidance that arise. You are always invited to notice how this lands for you, to reflect, and to take only what feels helpful.
These sessions are intended to help you feel more resourced and whole. It does not replace psychotherapy or medical treatment, and I will always encourage you to seek additional professional support where needed.
Breathwork release sessions use simple, guided breathing patterns to help your body soften and let go. Working with the breath can gently ease tension, support emotional release, and bring you back into your body in a grounded, steady way.
I will explain each step clearly before you begin and will check in with you throughout. You remain in charge of the pace at all times, and you can pause or adjust the practice whenever you need to.
Breathwork can be helpful when you feel stuck, tight, or disconnected from your feelings. It is not suitable for everyone, so I will always ask about any health conditions and adapt or offer alternatives where needed.
Your comfort, choice, and emotional safety are central to every session. Before you begin, there will be time to talk about what has brought you, what you would like support with, and which approaches feel right for you on the day.
You are always free to ask questions, change your mind, or stop a technique if it does not feel comfortable. Touch is always discussed first, and you remain fully clothed for all energy and shamanic work.
Energy work and shamanic healing can sometimes bring emotions to the surface. I will stay with you, help you ground, and offer simple aftercare suggestions. If more intense or long-term issues arise, she may gently signpost you towards additional professional support, such as your GP, a counsellor, or other appropriate services.
