Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with specific points on the feet and hands, known as reflex points. These areas are understood to correspond with different parts of the body. By applying comfortable pressure and calming techniques, reflexology aims to support your body’s natural ability to rebalance and relax.

You remain fully clothed apart from your feet and, if included, your lower legs or hands. Many people find reflexology deeply soothing, helping to ease feelings of stress, tension and overwhelm. Sessions can be a quiet space just for you – to rest, unwind and reconnect with yourself.

At Harmony & Balance, reflexology is offered as a holistic, non-clinical treatment. It does not diagnose or cure, but can be a nurturing way to support overall wellbeing alongside any medical care you may be receiving.
Relaxing reflexology treatment with hands gently pressing the sole of a foot
I offer reflexology in a calm, nurturing space where you can truly switch off. My approach is gentle, intuitive and grounded, drawing on many years of experience in holistic therapies.

Each session is tailored to you. I will listen to what you are experiencing – whether that is stress, poor sleep, feeling out of balance, or simply needing time out – and work with the reflexes in a way that feels supportive for your body.

Clients often describe feeling more settled, lighter and clearer after a treatment. Some drift into a peaceful, almost meditative state during their session. My intention is always that you leave feeling more centred, relaxed and connected back to yourself.
Reflexology may be helpful if you are looking for support with stress, tension, low energy, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or wanting to create more space for rest. Many people also choose reflexology alongside other approaches when navigating life changes, busy periods at work, or recovery from illness (with guidance from their healthcare team).

Reflexology is considered a complementary therapy. It is not a substitute for medical care and does not diagnose or claim to treat specific conditions. If you have a serious health concern, are pregnant, have a heart condition, unmanaged high blood pressure, or are under the care of a specialist, please speak to your doctor or healthcare provider before booking.

If you are unsure whether reflexology is suitable for you, I am very happy to discuss this with you and help you decide what feels most appropriate and supportive.
Reflexology can be experienced as a one-off deeply relaxing treatment or as a short series of sessions to gently support ongoing balance. Many clients like to start with a few sessions closer together, then move to occasional top-ups, but there is no fixed rule – we will discuss what feels right for you.
